Abstract Photography with Susan Ruach
Event Description:
Join award-winning photographer Susan Ruach for an inspiring evening exploring the art and emotion behind abstract photography. Susan began her photographic journey in the late 1980s, drawn to capturing beauty in everyday life and travel. Over time, her work evolved toward macro and abstract imagery—where photography becomes less about representation and more about evoking feeling and reflection.
A member of TNPPA since 2014 and a 2024 TNPPA Hall of Fame inductee, Susan has exhibited widely, published in books and magazines, and shared her knowledge through workshops and online courses. Her perspective on abstract photography encourages viewers to slow down, reconnect with creativity, and find meaning beneath the surface.
Susan believes that art has the power to restore and transform. As she puts it,
“Some images have the power to change us: to reduce stress, to inspire, to heal, and to reconnect us to our souls.”
Don’t miss this thought-provoking session designed to awaken your creative spirit and help you see photography—and the world around you—in a new way.
